Fayetteville, NC, RV resort

Our RV site has 10+ ratings with 2 pools and a Jacuzzi. Super clean and generous sites with trees for shade. Love it!

Visited Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville where Metallorigami statues are exhibited throughout the park. Fantastic place! So much beauty, tranquility and educational. Each piece started with a one page origami paper and was then transferred into museum quality metal pieces. Totally amazing!

Fayetteville downtown too is beautiful and has European flair. This was definitely not our last time here.

Unser Campingplatz ist super. 2 Schwimmbaeder, 1 Jacuzzi, sauber sauber, Baeume fuer Schatten und grosszuegige Plaetze. Sind mehr als zufrieden!

Besuchten Cape Fear Botanischen Garten in Fayetteville, wo zur Zeit Metallorigami Kunstwerke in den Gaerten ausgestellt sind. Jedes Origami Stueck  wurde aus nur einem Stueck Papier und dann in Metall hergestellt. Superschoener Park, tolle Kunststuecke, tranquil und lehrreich. Tolle Kunst!

Fayetteville Innenstadt hat Europaeischen Flair und gefiel uns auch grossartig. Dies war bestimmt nicht unser letzter Besuch hier.

Prattville, Alabama

Last night in this quaint little town. The historic center is absolutely lovely, the people are friendly and seem to take pride in their environment. From 1899 to 2012 this town was the largest gin cotton producer of the WORLD. I really like this place but one part that ruins it on days when the wind blows in the wrong direction. Hard to get over the smell produced by a papermill! Luckily our campsite was far enough away.  Kountry RV is a beautiful place, green, flowery, inviting and worth 5 stars in ratings. Would come here again during festival season... oh, and to visit the Far Off Broadway Theatre. 3 Tage, 2 Naechte, Morgen geht es weiter. Prattville ist eine schoene kleine historische Stadt, wo Cotton bis 2012 die groesste Rolle spielte. Ich bin begeistert von dem Ort, der alte Geschichte auch in Architektur erhaelt. Eastport, Maine

We arrived in Eastport and could not have picked a more beautiful place. Leaving the front curtains on the RV open and looking out to the Atlantic bay. Stunning view! Eastport and Lubec are the most eastern towns in the US. Little fishing towns with much flair and history. Lobster and haddock are on the menue everywhere. We love it! Tonight we steamed our own lobster at the camping site. This plus a salad and a glass of white wine makes for a 5 star meal. Touring Lubec tomorrow. Wir sind in Eastport angekommen and haetten uns keinen schoeneren Platz aussuchen koennen. Lassen die Vorhaenge im Wohnwagen vorn offen und schauen direkt auf den Atlantik. Einmalige Aussicht, ein Traum! Eastport und Lubec sind die am oestlichsten gelegenen Orte in den US. Es sind kleine Fischereiorte mit viel Charakter und Geschichte. Lobster und haddock (Schellfisch?
